Antigoni Tsagkaropoulou is an artist from Athens, Greece, now based in Los Angeles. Currently finishing an MFA in Media Arts at UCLA DMA with support from Fulbright and Onassis Foundation scholarships. Their work explores gender, sexuality and power through techno-deviant and trans-punk practices of resistance manifested in Mixed Reality performances, experimental films, and immersive environments. Antigoni has showcased their projects globally, including at The Arnolfini Center of Contemporary Arts (Bristol), Stegi- Onassis (Greece), Honor Fraser Gallery (L.A.), REDCAT (L.A.), Hebbel Am Ufer (Berlin), and Wrightwood 659 (Chicago). In 2023, they received the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Fellowship from ARTWORKS.
