Biography

Sol LeWitt was a renowned American artist who made significant contributions to the Conceptual Art movement of the 1960s and 70s. Born on September 9, 1928, in Hartford, Connecticut, LeWitt studied painting and graphic design at Syracuse University after serving in the Korean War.
